"Stargazer" has been appearing in the Waco Tribune-Herald since the column's inception in January 1990. Since early 2002 it has been available to other papers, and now appears in over 35. Written for lay audiences, "Stargazer" is educational entertainment for people young and old. Its perspective is generally geared to the observable sky in the southwest. Click HERE to see recent or archived columns. "Stargazer" is written for every-other-week publication. In addition to a major topic, there is always a "Sky Calendar" section highlighting upcoming observable events in the night sky and a "Naked-eye Planets" section indicating currently visible planets. Editors can tailor the calendar to their day of publication. The column is distributed by email the week prior to publication. Note: If space is a consideration, "Stargazer" is also available in a monthly as well as every-other-week format.
